Virtual Learning @ VIP Overview
Here at VIP's virtual program we work with each student to place them on an individual pathway using a virtual curriculum that is guided by highly qualified CVSD teachers. Unlike other virtual schools, our students also have opportunities to access additional focused group instruction, additional enrichment activities and individual and class meetings via Zoom.

- Individualized Learning Pathways - Our highly qualified teachers work with students to provide individualized learning plans that focus on academic and personal growth. As students progress, we adjust their plan to meet their changing needs.
- Relationships - Students have opportunies to build relationships with teachers, peers and the community to enhance student movation, socialization, and to promote a safe learning environment.
- Parent Partnership - Parents are valuable members of their child’s education team. Staff and families work together to support, encourage and celebrate students’ academic and personal growth.
- Enrichment - Students have many opportunies that encourage innovation, problem-solving strategies and life skills to help them gain the knowledge they need to prepare for a changing world.
- Flexibility - Flexible learning schedules are available to meet the needs of your family. Various schedule options with different levels of support are provided for families.
- Optional Thursday FLIP Days (Flexible Learning in Person) - FLIP Days are optional in-person days for students to attend at our VIP school building at 1512 N. Barker. The focus of this time is for students to develop relationships with peers, work in grade-level teams, problem solve, participate in hands-on learning opportunities
and participate in field trips. Parents/guardians are responsible for their student’s transportaon on FLIP Days.
