"The single most important activity for building the knowledge required for eventual success in reading is reading aloud to children."
“Read alouds support all areas of literacy development, exposing students to new words and grammar, increasing students’ interest in reading and writing, and expanding skills like phonological awareness.” (Lennox, 2013).
